Sibast Møbler model ‘no. 9’ teak & oak dining chairs – Helge Sibast
Set of four dining chairs designed by Helge Sibast for Sibast of Denmark, 1950s.
The chairs are made of a solid oak frame, with a teak veneered curved plywood backrest. They are reupholstered in a subtle brown white wool mix.
These chairs are early 1950s productions, and they show its age. They are however in a good condition.
There is a slight colour difference between them, we attribute this to positioning and fading due to sun exposure.
There is some superficial cracking in places, this does not affect the stability at all. There is some filling near some of the dowels connecting the frame to the back rests. Please see the photos for this.
53 cm wide
